The 2010 TNLA Board was approved at the TNLA business meeting February 1, 2010 in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Elected President was Tim Gallagher, First Vice-President, John Watson, Second Vice-President, Michael Kassees, Third Vice- President, Jim Webster, Secretary-Treasurer, Randall Walker, Associate, Dwight Burch and Ex-Officio, Marshall Allen

2010 Wholesale Nurseryman - Tim Hitchcock

Tim Hitchcock, Day Lily Nursery, Rock Island was named the TNLA 2010 Wholesale Nurseryman of the Year at the Awards Luncheon, February 1, 2010 in Pigeon Forge, TN.


2010 Young Nursery Professional - Sam Kinsey

Sam Kinsey, Kinsey Gardens, Knoxville, was named the TNLA 2010Nursery Professional of the Year at the Awards Luncheon, February 1, 2010 in Pigeon Forge, TN.


2010 Committee Chair - Dr. Nick Gawel

Dr. Nick Gawel, TSU Nursery Research Station, McMinnville, received the 2010 Committee Chair of the Year. Nick chaired the Tennessee Green Industry Field Day.


2010 Salesman of the Year - Andy Zimlich

Andy Zimlich, Nursery Supplies was named the TNLA 2010William J. "Bill" Reilly Salesman of the Year at the Awards Luncheon, February 1, 2010 in Pigeon Forge, TN.


2010 Landscape Company of the Year - Thress Nursery Gardens

Thress Nursery Gardens was named the TNLA 2010Landscape Contractor of the Year at the Awards Luncheon, February 1, 2010 in Pigeon Forge, TN.


2010 Retailer of the Year - The Barn Nursery

The Barn Nursery, Chattanooga was named the TNLA 2010 Retailer of the Year at the Awards Luncheon, February 1, 2010 in Pigeon Forge, TN.


TNLA Hall of Fame Awarded to Four

TNLA's most prestigious award is given to individuals who have contributed significantly to the Nursery Industry. Four individuals were honored with this award February 1, 2010 in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Mr. Jimmy Cagle, Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Winchester

Mr. Jim Eisler, Tennessee Department of Agriculture, McMinnville,

Mr. Mark Halcomb, University of Tennessee Extension, McMinnville

Mrs. Mary Hamby, Mary's Greenhouse, McMinnville; due to Mrs. Mary's untimely death, her daughter, Mrs. Beth Jacobs, accepted the award for her.

This is the highest honor bestowed on a TNLA member.

These awards are given annually. Please join us in honoring these individuals.
